Narratives are stories and can be either fiction or non-fiction, depending on their type/sub-category. You must choose a narrative you've written this year from ANY class. Here are some ideas: *Super-imaginary creature *Sarcophagus project *Where I'm From poem *Personal narrative *God/Goddess project *Any story you've written
Once you have chosen a narrative, you must have a physical copy (or an electronic copy) by Monday, June 4 so that you can revise and edit. You will be... *Adding dialogue. Use the rules correctly and practice. *Adding figurative language. *Turning it into a memoir by adding a theme (lesson/moral/reflection) to the end. *Revising and editing to eliminate surface errors and replace with more interesting word choices (synonyms and antonyms).
